Delicious Thai food in a somewhat dumpy location. Place for a date? Hmmm. Maybe a sixth date or later. Earlier only if your date values taste above all. :) I had spicy beef salad (was that on the menu?). At level 3 it was about as spicy as I could handle and I worried about my level 4 green curry. The curry however was not nearly as hot. If you can't deal with spiciness, I suggest sticking with level 1 and adding your own heat.

I've lived in the area for what seems like 100 years (more like 25), and apparently, this place is as much of a long-time fixture in Palm Beach as I am. However, it wasn't until recently that I actually decided to try their food. I'm glad I did. Their dishes are not only very generous in portion size, and reasonably priced, they're just plain delicious. I love the combo fried rice (beef, chicken, seafood), and my girlfriend and I really enjoy the interesting salad that comes with the entree (topped with potato chips!). When you're ready to pay, you can expect some tootsie rolls and jolly ranchers to be handed to you along with your check. This is definitely a Thai restaurant with character, along with delicious food and friendly service!

I have been coming to this Thai place for like 22 years. I actually went here with my prom date before my high school prom. That is how much I love this place. I will not dispute that it is in a super dumpy strip mall, but you can do take out. If you do eat in you get a little salad with your meal. It has delicious peanut dressing and a few chips on top. Don't know how that makes it do delicious but the sweet and salty are a winner. You should always order the beer noodle soup. It is flavorful and adding a tiny bit of the crushed red pepper gives it a kick. I have had other versions of this soup and pretty much no one has hit it spot on except this place (and Ricky Thai Bistro in North Miami). Trust me, I've searched for 22 years. I've had a number of the other stir fry dishes. All are wonderful. I especially like the chicken snow pea and the soy sauce noodles (which is pretty much pad see ew).

I had pork panang curry and my date had pad thai with chicken. They start you out with a nice little salad with peanut dressing that I enjoyed. I ordered my curry 5 level hot and unfortunately it wasn't as hot as I'd like, but this is an issue with a lot of Thai places these days. It was decent. My date's pad thai was ok as well, maybe a little on the greasy side. Place could probably use some renovation and has an odd smell. Service was good overall. I'd like to try it again sometime, maybe for lunch.

For starters, if this restaurant was in SF, LA, NY or Chicago I bet it wouldn't last 1 year. Why you ask? Well for starters they use CANNED mushrooms. Really? Prices are pretty high for a Thai restaurant. Back in LA.. in Thai Town.. dishes range from $5 to $10. I feel like here in WPB, they inflate the prices as there is not so much competition. 3 stars for some dishes which are OK. service is Ok.. nothing special.

My hubby learned about this place from work. I've never been there, but I love the rice. It's very tasty and loaded with meat. The only thing I don't like is it is a little on the oily side, but still my favorite Thai food so far.

I have gone to this hole in the wall restaurant for lunch for about the last 12 years. I have yet to be disappointed. The staff is very attentive and remember your lunch preferences. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you like a non-pretentious Thai restaurant.

What a surprise! We ate here on Christmas eve and couldn't have been happier! The food was remarkably fresh, the portions were large and the taste was fantastic! We would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back here next year! This will be our new Christmas eve dining destination!

Absolutely terrific! Food and service are top notch. Came here St. Patrick's night. Ordered pork with black pepper and garlic. Level of spice 2 on a scale 1 to 5 was just right for me.

my parents informed me that this place has been here for years, how is it that i missed this place, im all about ethnic holes-in-the-walls. For the first time since i've been home for the holidays i see tofu offered as an item on the menu, tears of joy almost spilled out of me. me and the waiter had a communication barrier when i tried to explain i wanted vegetarian, so i fell back on "im a buddhist". that usually gets the message across. the salads came out with a peanut ginger dressing and ....POTATO chips! I have never seen this before, but the salad was still good. I got the cashew stir fry with my beloved tofu. Dad L. got bamboo shoot/chicken stir fry level 3 spicy. Mom L. played it safe with veg/chicken no spice. Dad L. was patting his forehead by the end of the meal because the spice was making him sweat, he gave it a thumbs up even thou there was no bamboo in it (?). my cashew selection came with onions, bell peppers, tofu and tons of cashews - they seemed to leave off the spice entirely off mine but it was delicious regardless. our server scooped out generous amounts of rice onto our plates beforehand to soak up all the sauces. servings were generous and we ended up with tons to take home. they season dishes level 1-5 on their spicy meter, my dad eats chiles like its nothing and he was looking rough from a 3. if u choose 5 you have a belly of steel.

Got take out, which is a good thing because the place did not smell good. Just kind of old and like the carpets need replacing, which they do! I will probably not go again. I went through with it this time because I had promised someone to get lunch from A-1 and I had a lot to do. The food was ok. Not near as good as a few years ago when everything was fresher tasting with great flavor. The price is very fair (6.50 for lunch combo) which is probably why so many people show up for lunch. THAI BAY on Okeechobee is waay better!
